VERA BRITTAIN (1893-1970), writer, feminist, and pacifist, is best known for her haunting memoir of the First World War, Testament of Youth.
 
Her writings, published and unpublished, remain in copyright.
 
Anyone wishing to quote from Vera Brittain’s work, or to reproduce it, whether in print or other media, should apply to the literary executors for the Vera Brittain Estate, Mark Bostridge and Timothy Brittain-Catlin.
